Whether you're a previous Bournemouth Collegiate School, Wentworth or Uplands pupil, we're sure BCS holds a place in your heart - and we're excited to be relaunching The Blue Society after a short hiatus.  

Alumni communities have two distinctive strengths: relatability and sustainability. Having grown up in the same area, living together in the boarding house and perhaps having had some of the same teachers, former BCS students are ideal role models as they are instantly relatable. They can offer advice to students from their own context. 

BCS Alumni can prove to students that ‘someone like me’ can succeed and prosper. BCS can have a lasting pool of support available because as new students leave the school each year, they can join the growing community of volunteers. We want to grow our school’s alumni community, so there is a host of potential career and education role models. The list of possibilities are endless and new innovative ways of working with BCS Alumni are now being developed.

Here you can browse through hundreds of photos, videos, and documents covering the history and students of the school and its predecessors - Bourne School for Girls, Sandecotes School, Uplands, Milton Mount School, and Wentworth College - from over 125 years since our foundation in 1899.  

All the content is completely free to view, registered users can also comment, interact with one another, and take advantage of facial and character recognition to find pictures of, or references to, themselves in the social archive. 

Whenever you leave the school you automatically become part of the Blue Society network. Our aim is not to just be a school but also to become a lifelong, inclusive and supportive community dedicated to helping former pupils stay in touch, both with the School and with other Alumni. All we ask is for you to fill in a simple form with your details.
