Our warm, welcoming environment and small size allows for strong and lasting relationships to be developed. Our aim as a senior school is to help our children reach beyond their potential; both academically and through our highly respected enrichment programme. Pastoral care has always been highly esteemed, with our team specifically skilled to coach, support and develop our students through their senior school years.
The Heads of Year and their tutor teams support and monitor the students’ progress through the school, working with them, their teachers, and parents. We believe a strong parent partnership combined with an expert pastoral system is key to enabling the students to fulfil their potential. Inevitably, there will be challenges throughout their teenage years; we aim to support the students in navigating these challenges for themselves, building self-efficacy and preparing for the world beyond school.
"We encourage our students to strive to be the best they can, to take pleasure from small things, to practice gratitude and kindness and to enjoy their school years and the opportunities provided."
We recognise that academic success is important but we believe in developing the whole individual and alongside the curriculum our extensive holistic education and co-curricular programme allows for the four Cs of Curiosity, Creativity, Commitment and Community to develop in every pupil.
Your child will be encouraged to be adventurous, to serve others and to aim high with integrity. This, of course, looks different to every student. We will work with your child on an individual level to ensure their talents are celebrated, individuality is nurtured, and their contributions are kind and positive.
