GCSE Results Success for BCS Pupils!
News
Following successful A Level results last week, BCS once again achieved some fantastic results with their GCSE cohort.

A huge 91% of pupils achieved grades at 9-4; 15 % of all grades were at grade 9 and 8; 50% of pupils achieved a grade 7 or above in English; and a quarter of all grades were at 9-7 – achievements reflecting the dedication and hard work of our pupils and teachers.

Principal Maria Coulter said: “These results are testament to the commitment, passion, and perseverance of our pupils, supported by a dedicated team of staff and the wider school community. BCS is a non-selective school and in so many cases pupils have exceeded at GCSE alongside balancing a broad range of commitments in performing arts and sport to a very high level. Our pupils have not only excelled academically but have also developed resilience, creativity, and a love of learning, that will serve them well in the future. I look forward to welcoming many to the Sixth Form at BCS.”

Clare Connolly, Head of Year 11 added: “I am so proud of our pupils on achieving an amazing set of results. They have grown in confidence over the last two years through hard work and commitment to their studies, and it is wonderful to see so many be rewarded with excellent grades.”
