Statement of Boarding Principles and Practice
Bournemouth Collegiate School is a boarding school in Dorset that acts as a home away from home for our students; where the focus of our private boarding school is to create a positive, caring, stimulating and safe environment where children from all nationalities and cultures can thrive and connect.
Our boarding team believe in a child-centred education which allows our students to grow in confidence and independence, while fully supporting them in their academic and personal successes. Emphasis is placed on concern for the welfare of others within the school community and when they arrive at BCS' private boarding school, students are immediately given a 'boarding buddy' to show them how things work.
