The BCS production of Beauty and the Beast debuted at @pdsw_org on 31st January and ran over three nights (and one Saturday matinee) - and what a show it was! It was wonderful to see all the pupils involved throw themselves so passionately into their characters, and with many of the main parts being double cast, many more pupils had the chance to take on these starring roles.
Mrs Dewsnap, Director of Performance said:
"I’m incredibly proud of our recent school production of Beauty and the Beast. The show was nothing short of spectacular, and the professionalism of our pupils was truly impressive. Each cast member delivered outstanding performances, bringing their characters to life with passion and skill. From the elegance of Belle and the comedic brilliance of Lumière, to the heart of the Beast, every performer shone brightly on stage.
The choreography was equally remarkable, with flawless, professional-level dances that added so much to the production. The seamless coordination between the cast and dancers was a true highlight.
This production wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of every person involved—actors, dancers, crew, and creatives alike. I’m beyond proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and it was an absolute joy to see our students shine in such a magnificent show. I cannot wait to get started on our next production!"
