Prep Admissions

There is a wonderful richness about the education provided by the school, and we strongly encourage all parents to come and visit, with their son or daughter, to see for themselves and discuss next steps.

Prep Admissions Steps  

Each section of the school has a slightly different approach to the admissions process, reflecting the different stages children are at on their developmental journey. Whilst entry is supported for a wide range of abilities, we do also have to be confident we have the capacity and resources to support each child’s individual educational needs. These can be discussed when you visit.
 
Families interested in joining BCS are encouraged to come to visit us on one of our Prep School Open Days which are held throughout the year or a bespoke individual visit is also able to be made.  Following the visit, you may wish to register your child for a place at the school. Next Steps

Once the registration process has been completed, Taster Days will be arranged for children who are in current Reception – Year 6. This allows prospective pupils to meet teachers and pupils, familiarise themselves with the school surroundings and experience a typical day as a BCS pupil.  Following this, you can expect to receive a feedback telephone call from Karen Wyborn who will advise you of the next steps and answer any queries you or your child may have following their time with us.
